MARKETING DIRECTOR We are seeking a talented and creative Marketing Director to develop marketing programs, establish market planning techniques, execute strategic and tactical marketing plans, create recommended business development guidelines, build corporate image, develop potential sources of business and coordinate the overall corporate marketing program of the company. Responsibilities include: conducting market research; developing and implementing an annual marketing plan and developing long range goals; establishing public relations objectives; assisting in and coordinating lead-finding activities; overseeing preparation and development of marketing materials; advising and providing assistance to technical staff on marketing efforts, including responding to RFPs and making presentations; and making direct client contact. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in private industry is desirable. Previous employment with an engineering firm or other service industry is highly desirable. Must possess an outgoing personality with considerable public speaking ability. CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN/CADD OPERATOR (Southwest Harbor) To perform a broad variety of drafting or computer design tasks on primarily land/site development projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Will complete working drawings, design sketches, presentation drawings, shop drawings, diagrams, and other documents from sketches, markups, redlines, etc. as required on projects. Will also assist in local, State and Federal permitting of projects. Accuracy, quality, completeness and adherence to schedules is necessary. Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology or Computer-aided Drafting Technology required. Experience preferred. PROJECT ENGINEER (Southwest Harbor)
We are seeking a Project Engineer for municipal and private
engineering projects. The successful candidate will be
responsible for preparing design concepts and developing project
plans and specifications. Will review the work of technicians
and drafters, attend client meetings, prepare reports,
specifications, plans, construction schedules and monitor
project budgets. Will consult and advise field engineers,
contractors and inspectors regarding the construction phase of
projects and communicate directly with governmental/regulatory
staff.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of design experience, have experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and possess a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. P.E. registration is required. Must possess strong analytical, writing and communication skills. CIVIL /ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Presque Isle) Position will assist in various civil and environmental engineering projects. Responsibilities may include water, wastewater, stormwater, solid waste, survey, roadways, cost estimating, and environmental monitoring. Survey experience is required. Work also includes performing various field inspections. Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary. Computer experience required. AutoCad experience preferred. Must be able to work independently as well as a team member. Be responsible for completion of assigned work in conformance with schedules in a fast paced environment.
