Rollover for Larger View
CES, Inc. was retained by Woods of Maine, Inc. to provide civil, surveying, permitting, and environmental services for a residential development called Woodridge Subdivision, located on the Bomarc Road in Bangor, Maine. This four phase development involved the construction of a variety of house lot types. The first two phases, completed between 2004 and early 2006, were traditional minimum sized, low density residential lots with the second phase having lots on each side of a single road. Each of the first two phases include storm water runoff treatment, active and passive open space, a nearby wetland nature area, and all public utilities. Some of the lots also incorporate walkout basements. A homeowner's association operates a sewer pump station and administers the open space.

The third phase, worked on in late 2006 to early 2007, was a twenty-four unit planned group development providing townhouse living. Prices for a three bedroom townhouse run as low as $104,000. The four sixplexes have nearby open space and are strategically placed atop a knoll to incorporate a nice southwestern view of a nearby meadow.

The fourth phase, which is currently being worked on, will involve small clustered lots with private administered road and open space. These lots are planned to be available in 2009.

CES, Inc. was also responsible for obtaining a Site Location of Development Application (SLODA) Permit from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. An amended SLODA has recently been submitted to include the fourth phase of this project and is currently in the review process.
