Like many towns in Maine, the Town of Millinocket is dotted with older, more dense neighborhoods. Often these areas have aging utility infrastructure and narrow roads. CES, Inc. is currently working closely with the Town and Aqua Maine (the Town’s water service provider) on a neighborhood scale infrastructure improvement project in the “Pines” neighborhood. The project involves replacement of sanitary sewer lines and water lines, the installation of new storm sewers and catch basins, and the reconstruction and repaving of all affected roadways.

CES engineers designed new sewer and water conveyance lines within a narrow road right-of-way. CES environmental engineers have been working on improved roadway design and stormwater management to help maintain the environmental integrity of the adjacent Millinocket Stream. As part of this design and site investigation, process survey services and ledge borings were taken by CES Field Crew. Additional services include the creation of bid documents, assisting the Town with the bidding process, and grant administration services for a CDBG Public Infrastructure Grant.
